Totaka's Song is a famous song created by Kazumi Totaka. It's first appearance was in the Japan only X, but it was first discovered in Mario Paint. Later, it was discovered in the Animal Crossing series, a game that translates to For the Frog the Bell Tolls, Mario Artist: Talent Studio (no video evidence has surfaced, so I don't take this seriously), Virtual Boy Wario Land, Luigi's Mansion, Pikmin 2 & many others. It is still being searched for in Wave Race 64, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Wii Music & the Wii Channels. It is not in Brawl, so don't look for it there.

Totaka's Song will be hidden in Super Smash Bros. Duel. A hint: it is not on any screen

Games it's been found in

  • Animal Crossing series (find K.K. & request K.K. Song. Totaka's Song is not normally this long, but it's been extended so it actually sounds like a song. In City Folk you can also wait on the bus for a few moments when Kapp'n isn't facing you)
  • For the Frog the Bell Tolls (return to the port town following your third quest in the castle, go into the shop & wait a few minutes)
  • Link's Awakening/DX (enter the frog-filled house of Richard from above game & wait a few moments. The Japanese & German versions of the DX version require you to make a new file called "Totakeke" (Japanese) or "MOYSE" (German)
  • Luigi's Mansion (Wait on the controller configuration screen in the training room for a few minutes)
  • Mario Artist: Talent Studio (I have no video evidence. I hear from people that there are animation scenes & the song plays in one of them, but I have no evidence to support this)
  • Mario Paint (The first game it was discovered in, & the only one where it is not really hidden well. You just need to click on the O on the Title Screen)
  • Pikmin 2 (Enter a cave you have not yet completed & complete it by collecting all the treasure then wait on the Treasures Salvaged screen for a few minutes. It will not work if you re-do a cave you have already done)
  • Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins (Wait a few moments on the Game Over screen)
  • Virtual Boy Wario Land (Beat teh game, & after the credits wait on the END screen for a few moments)
  • Wii Sports (Go to the tennis option and listen closely to the noises the tennis ball makes if you keep it going for a bit.)
  • X (The song's first appearance & the earliest one known to man. You wait on the Thank you... screen for a few minutes)
  • Yoshi's Story (On the Trial Mode screen wait a few minutes)
  • Yoshi Touch & Go (Get to a part where the winds blow away the clouds you draw, pause the game & wait a few minutes)

Games it hasn't been found in

  • Wii Music
  • Wii Channels
  • Wave Race 64
  • Super Smash Bros. Brawl (The song is not on the code, & thus is not in the game, so STOP/don't look(ing) for it)
