Super Smash Bros. Riot is an upcoming game for the Nintendo DS created by HAL laboratories and supervised by Nintendo. It is scheduled for release in 2011. It has almost equal graphics to Brawl and the game play style is similar to all other previous Smash games. Little is known but it has been confirmed to be released on a DS cartridge and not on DSI ware.

Game Play[]

The current game Key is as followed.

D pad = movement of Character, movement of cursor.

A = Standard Attack, Select.

B = Special Attack, cancel.

X = Grab, Select.

Y = Taunt, Cancel.

L = Block.

R = Block.

It is presumed these settings can be changed similar to Brawl. The touch screen will not play a big part in this game. It will however display the damage percentages of every player unless in a Multi player mode in which there is an option to have percentages hidden from other players. The touch screen is used to activate the Final Smash by simply touching it while having a broken smash ball ready. It also shows what players have the Smash Ball or Dragoon Parts

Characters[]

All characters featured in Super Smash Bros. Brawl return in Riot with the exception of the third party characters Snake and Sonic for unknown reasons. Roy and Mewtwo from Super Smash Bros. Melee also return. There also three new characters never before seen in Super Smash Bros. they are Mallow, Geno, Ridly and Ganbare Goemon who can swap between three other characters. Toon Link was also renamed Young Link but retains the same move set and model from Brawl. It has also be hinted that a character from the Golden Sun series will be featured in this game possibly Issac the main character of the first game and an assist trophy in brawl but with Super Smash Bros. history of advertising it could possibly be a character from the new Golden Sun DS game.
