The Subspace Emmisary is the Adventure Mode of Super Smash Bros. Brawl.Every single game on this site, has a Subspace Emmissary of it's own, although in Super Smash Bros X it is called "Story Mode"

A mysterious being known only as Tabuu plots to bring every location of the World of Trophies to Subspace. He uses Master Hand as his pawn, who in return recruits Ganondorf, Bowser & Wario to take down anyone who stands in his way.
Before they can fight Tabuu, the player must find all the characters (except for Toon Link, Jigglypuff and Wolf). The characters don't know that Tabuu has anything to do with it until late in the game when you get to Subspace. The first villain shown is the Ancient Minister, who is found out that he is actually a R.O.B., who rebels against Ganondorf, his master, and joins the player's team. Later it is revealed that even Ganondorf (and Wario and Bowser, who are in the same position as him) has a master. Master Hand is then thought to be the ultimate enemy, but later, Master Hand is revealed to be Tabuu's puppet. After the characters team up, they go to Subspace & are turned into trophies. As King Dedede, Luigi or Ness, you must collect the trophies so you can use them in the Great Maze. Just as you are about to be turned into trophies again, Sonic attacks Tabuu, damaging his wings badly. If the player defeats him the Emissary is cleared.
You can go back to Subspace to retrieve any characters you did not rescue, & then go back to the Forest, Swamp & Ruins to defeat & unlock Toon Link, Jigglypuff & Wolf, respectively.
