Reviews[]

Billy the Wizard: Rocket Broomstick Racing[]

  • Name: Billy the Wizard: Rocket Broomstick Racing
  • Release date: October 3, 2007
  • Presentation: 2.0/10
  • Graphics: 3.0/10
  • Sound: 4.0/10
  • Gameplay: 2.0/10
  • Lasting Appeal: 2.0/10
  • Overall Score: 2.0/10 = Terrible

There is actually a hint of cruelty in Nintendo allowing this game -- and many of Conspiracy Entertainment's budget Wii games -- to crowd shelves. They are just disappointment pressed into a disc, hidden inside a colorful box like some sort of gaming booby trap. Billy the Wizard is easily one of the worst games for the Wii and the kind of thing that kills momentum, much like that final crushing wave of crap that sealed the fate of the seemingly unstoppable Atari 2600.

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith[]

  • Name: Guitar Hero: Aerosmith
  • Release date: June 29. 2008
  • Presentation: 7.0/10
  • Graphics: 6.0/10
  • Sound: 8.0/10
  • Gameplay: 7.5/10
  • Lasting Appeal: 5.0/10
  • Overall Score: 7.6/10 = Good

It's tough to get excited about Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. It's essentially a re-release of Guitar Hero III with a new song list and some new avatars. No versions of this game will have any downloadable content, so you're stuck with the 40-odd tracks on the disc. Still, it is Guitar Hero and the formula can deliver a lot of fun. The game is easier than any before it, which makes it a nice choice for anybody looking to jump in and try out a Guitar Hero game for the first time. Just double check your status in the Aerosmith fan club before running out to buy this one.
