I know Bio Rex isn't a major F-Zero character, but I just really like dinosaurs.
How to Unlock[]
- Play 820 standard matches
- Using Beastman, clear Classic mode on the Normal difficulty setting or higher with no continues
Note:You must defeat Bio Rex in a standard match after 1 of the above requirements is met in order to unlock him.
- Get Bio Rex to join your party in "Tabuu's Revenge:Space-Time Chaos"

- Speed is only slightly less than that of Captain Falcon
- Can Wall Jump
Special Moves[]
- Neutral Special Move:Dino Punch
- Side Special Move:Dino Claw
Description:Bio Rex dashes forward and slashes with it's claws.
- Up Special Move:Dino Bite
Description:Similar to Ganondorf's Dark Dive except that when Bio Rex grabs an opponent, he bites them before throwing them.
- Down Special Move:Dino Kick
- Final Smash:Big Fang
Description:Similar to Captain Falcon's Blue Falcon final smash except that the course in the cinematic is designed to mimic the look and feel of a forest during the Cretaceous Period.
Snake Codec Message[]
Snake:"Hey! It's F-Zero number 15!"
Otacon:"You mean Bio Rex?"
Snake:"Yeah. There's always been something about him that makes me like him."
Otacon:"Is it his big teeth and claws?"
Snake:"Hmmm... No."
Otacon:"How about his speed?"
Snake:"I don't think so."
Otacon:"Well, there gotta be something."
Snake:"There is... I just can't put my finger on it. Something I can almost identify with..."
Note:The reason Snake may be able to identify with Bio Rex is that, in the Metal Gear universe, Snake was artificially created in a lab. Much like Bio Rex was artificially created in the F-Zero universe.
Fighting against Bio Rex[]
There are two good methods for dealing with Bio Rex. One, fight him from a distance. He has no projectile attacks. Chip away at him with projectiles until he leaves himself vulnerable for something bigger. Two, get in close. Many of Bio Rex's best moves have a somewhat lengthy execution time. If you keep hitting him he won't be able to use them.
