Arthur is a playable fighter in Super Smash Bros. World Warriors representing the Ghosts and Goblins franchise. Arthur fights primarily with his lance, but he also uses other weapons from his series for his Special Moves and a few others. A unique feature about Arthur is that his Special Moves have little to no start-up lag, and can be used while Arthur is running without halting his speed, allowing for some great pressure options.

Moveset[]

Ground Attacks[]

Normal[]

  • Neutral Attack - Jabs forward with his lance, then slices upwards, before slamming the tip of the lance into the ground.
  • Dash Attack - Runs forward, raising his lance above him and jabs forwards.

Tilts[]

  • Forward Tilt - Throws Lance forward, then another one appears in his hands. Travels fairly quickly, but is predictable.
  • Up Tilt - Jabs lance at an upward angle. Good for stunning aerial foes.
  • Down Tilt - Stabs downwards with a dagger.

Smash Attacks[]

  • Forward - Jabs forwards. Like the first part of his Neutral attack, but with slightly more range and more damage output.
  • Up - Takes out a scythe and swings it over his head. Deals more damage at the end of the scythe.
  • Down - Jams the tip of the lance into the ground in front of him, then kicks behind him with both feet using the lance to hold him up. The lance part of the move deals more damage then the backwards kick.

Aerial Attacks[]

  • Nair - Throws a discus that spins in a circle around Arthur.
  • Fair - Jabs Lance forwards.
  • Bair - Throws a dagger backwards. One of the weaker Back Aerials in the game, but has great range.
  • Uair - Raises a shield above him. Slightly pushes Arthur upwards.
  • Dair - Jabs Lance downwards. Serves as a Meteor Smash if the move connects at the sweetspot.

Grabs and Throws[]

  • Forward Throw - Uses a sword to slash at the foe, sending them flying forwards.
  • Back Throw - Jabs lance into the foe, then reers the lance above his head, sending the foe flying off backwards.
  • Down Throw - Slams enemy into the ground and throws a torch on them, burning them before sending them flying upwards.
  • Up Throw - Tosses opponent upwards and follows up with a jab from the lance.

Special Moves[]

  • Neutral Special - Axe: Throws an axe at an arch. Deals minor damage, but has no start-up lag and can be used while running.
  • Side Special - Tri-Blade: A boomerang-esque weapon that hits multiple times. Arthur can have up to two on screen at a time. Moves somewhat slowly.
  • Up Special - Crossbow: Fires two shots downward, propelling Arthur upwards twice. The shots can be angled slightly.
  • Down Special - Torch: Throws a torch on the ground in front of him, creating a small pillar of fire. Great for trapping opponents. Can potentially burn.
